How to make bitter-less bitter gourd fry?

Tasty Bitter Gourd Fry

Myself and my husband love eating bitter gourd. It has tons of health factors to it. Its helps sugar patience make their sugar level in control.



One thing people doesn't like about this , its bitterness. Today I am gonna share you all how to make bitter gourd that's taste yummy and crispy .

All you need is ,
  1. Bitter Gourd (4 to 5)
  2. Onion (2 big)
  3. Maida / Wheat Flour / Cake Flour (3 tspn)
  4. Red Chilly Powder (2 tspn)
  5. Mustard seeds
  6. Oil
  7. Salt

Before we start making it, Cut bitter gourd round in shape and remove its seed. Then we need to put them in salt water for some 5 minutes.
If you like sour taste you can soak them in tamarind water also.



Once after that take a pan and heat some oil and put mustard seeds. Add onion to it and make it golden brown.

If need some more add at this stage. Now take our 3tspn Maida add it to bitter gourd fry.Add salt as you require.



Its time to add Chilly powder to it. I have added 2 tspn , you taste and add more incase you want more spice.

Saute this for some 3 to 4 minutes.

It has mix with the fry properly. Maida and oil will take away the bitterness. Now turn off , and serve this with Rice/Dal Curry/Curd.

How to make Healthy Ragi, Ponnaganni Dosa


Today I made Ragi, Ponnaganni dosa. That was amazingly tasty. Its a very easy recipe to cook.
And Its extremely healthy to have.Let's start :)

You should have following things in your kitchen to make this.

Ingredients:

  1. Ragi, Ponnaganni flour
  2. Onion ( Small Or Big )
  3. Garlic
  4. Green Chilly
  5. Mustard Seeds
  6. Curry leaves
  7. Oil
  8. Water
  9. Salt
I bought the Ragi, Ponnaganni Flour (Maavu) recently in Organic Departmental Store in Adyar Chennai. It was little expensive but worth fot it.(It was 75 Rupees Of 400gm)

Procedure:
  1. Chop onions finely. I took one big onion to make for one person. You can take as you require.
  2. Take some pieces of garlic and chop them too.
  3. Take a pan add little  oil to it. Add Mustard Seeds and onions
  4. Saute onions until it turns gold in color.
  5. Add garlic and curry leaves to it.
  6. Take it out from pan.
  7. Take a bowl where you want to make the dosa flour.
  8. Take  Ragi, Ponnaganni Flour , I took around 150gm and add some salt to it.
  9. Now add little water and make a paste and the onions which we saute.
  10. Add little more water make it as a dosa flour. 
  11. Heat the Dosa tawa and Put gingelly oil. Make as a dosa.
  12. Take it hot along with some chutney or Idly podi .
